Since 1950, U Swel and Daw Than Ngwe founded. In 1960, they changed their bakery from homemade to the industrial and working with the professionals. In 1975, opened a wholesale shop at Myatpar quarter in Mandalay and delivered their products all over Myanmar. In 1997, built a factory in South Dagone Industrial Zone (1) in Yangon and extended their product production for Yangon and the towns in lower Myanmar. In 2009, registered as Shwe Kyee Company Limited at the Myanmar Investment Commission. Now, cakes, bread, sachima, mooncakes, biscuits, and cookies are also being produced in additional to the all-time favourite classic product: rusk; with a workforce of over 300 using modernized machines at the factory in East Dagone Industrial Zone Shwe Kyee is using clean raw materials to made healthy, nutritious and delicious products with reasonable price for the people of all the religions. As Shwe Kyee Food Products, we are using the FDA approved raw materials to produce our products. At the production sector, we are using latest model machine and production with good method of GMP practice under the guidance of FDA.
